CHARGED
I’ve been a longtime fan of Teater Ekamatra. This was my first time working with them!
I’ve wanted to play the role of Victor de Souza ever since I read an excerpt of Charged back in 2015.
This was a series of dramatised readings for The Studios: fifty at Esplanade. Mine was Interrogating the Interrogators: Two Plays of Chong Tze Chien.

Fun fact: he originated the role of Russell Lim when Ekamatra first staged Charged in 2010 & 2011!
When I saw the cast list, I was over the moon!
Izzul Irfan, Irsyad Dawood, Teoh Jun Vinh, Krish Natarajan, Ali Mazrin.
These young men are some of the finest actors of their generation.
Teater Ekamatra took amazing care of us!
Charged deals with some really dark subject matter, so they went out of their way to make sure we were always safe, incredibly well-fed, and having fun!
Thank you Shaza, Fared, Khai, Anais, Mysara, Sofie, Sharmin, Giovanni, Mirra, Nat, Safuan, Adrian, Lian, and each and every member of the Teatre Ekamatra team!
I loved being part of Charged!
